Our Facility

Our treatment center is located in Huntington Beach, CA, known for its 8.5 miles of uninterrupted coastline. We provide detox and residential treatment services in a caring, compassionate setting. Our facility features six beds, with private and shared rooms available.

The healing properties of the sea do not stop here, however. The beach continues to be a place of healing, balance and restoration. Studies confirm this, as exposure to ‘blue spaces’ is scientifically linked to better mental health.

Our location was not chosen by default. The ancient Greeks were aware of the healing properties of the sea. They used ocean water to treat all types of ailments, such as arthritis, eczema and back pain. The water was even used to prevent infections, ease pain and heal wounds.

With this in mind, we felt there was no better place for a residential treatment center than right here in Huntington Beach – also known as Surf City. Our facility is just blocks from the Pacific Ocean, and our clients find a level of serenity, peace and hope here.

Surfside Recovery gives our clients the tools they need to recover from their addiction and function in the real world. Most clients start with detox, the process of eliminating drugs, alcohol and other toxins from the body. We provide around-the-clock support and monitoring to keep our clients safe and comfortable.

When detox is complete, our clients start on the path to healing. Through individual and group therapy, our clients uncover the root cause of their substance use. Your healing journey will depend on your underlying issues. For instance, if you have an untreated mental health problem, medication and therapy will help. If it’s unresolved trauma, you’ll need to process this in a safe setting.

Once you complete detox and residential treatment, you can take part in our ever-growing Alumni program. We feel it’s important for our clients to have a sense of community as they transition to everyday life. This is why we continue to provide resources and support to our clients.
